Peruvian Ceviche

At our recent Peruvian Platter Cooking Class, our instructor, shop owner Mary Lou Schuster, made the most delicious Ceviche de Camaron o Pescado.  You have the option of making this version of Ceviche with either shrimp or a firm white fish such as Halibut, Snapper, Cod, or Ahi.

Mary Lou chose to use Snapper in her dish, as well as tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lots of lime juice, cucumber and our Ultra Premium Coratina olive oil.  The results were pretty spectacular, as you can see from the close up photo above.  And I can tell you, the taste was even better than the photo!

If you have not had the pleasure of attending one of our cooking classes, we would like to suggest that you do so.  We have a fantastic line up of guest chefs coming up on the calendar.   In April, we have two classes scheduled:  Spring Has Sprung Brunch on April 14, and Rob from Rob’s Place (a new local restaurant) will cook for us on April 28.  We still have a few openings, so if you are available, give us a call at (209) 728-8853 to register by phone.

Our cooking classes are a real treat!  Don’t miss out.
