Fat Tuesday: New Orleans Cuisine

Bring your beads and your appetite for some New Orleans fun! Our class will be hosted by Tom Knoth and Paula Martell, who just returned from “The Big Easy” with some of the classic recipes that have made its restaurants famous.

Tom and Paula are home cooks whose passion for food turned them into cooking instructors. They were organizers and hosts of the monthly Pine Mountain Lake Cooking classes in Groveland for 4 years, and they have also conducted cooking classes for some of our local wineries. Their style is casual, fun, and interactive; sharing lots of techniques and knowledge, and some great food. We hope you will join us in welcoming them to Marisolio.

Menu: Iced Tea–Beignets–Pimento Cheese–Shrimp Remolade–Muffuletta Sandwich—Crème Brûlée

Class is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12.  We will offer both a 10 AM session and a 6 PM session.  Class fee is $30, with $5 the cost of a second class fee.  This is going to be an outstanding class, and would be such a fun thing to do with a friend or spouse.  Call the store at (209) 728-8853 to make your reservation now.
