Marisolio is pleased to have Chef Chip Roberts from The Arnold Pantry guest teach this intriguing class for us. Chef Chip also is a chef for O.A.R.S. in Angels Camp, and provides gourmet food for rafting trip guests. Chip attended the Culinary Arts Program at Johnson and Wales in Charlotte, SC, and knows Southern Cuisine inside and out. He will offer up some traditional Southern recipes, but with a twist only a trained chef would come up with. This class will be full of technique, as we will learn about Sous Vide (cooking foods sealed in an airtight bag in a water bath or temperature controlled environment at very low temperatures for longer than normal cooking times), making perfect biscuits, and how to braise. Join us while we learn to combine homey good cooking with gourmet methods. Enrollment is limited, so do reserve your space soon.

Class is offered on Tuesday, May 26, with a choice of two sessions: one at 10:00 AM and a second at 6:00 PM. Class fee is $30, with $5 off the second class fee if you bring a friend.
